As a she crossed the finish line with tears down her race, she realized what went into this day.
After graduating in 2015, Sara gave up running at a competitive level to focus on her career at a private equity firm. She returned to the sport after a friend introduced her to a potential training partner that was running Grandma's Marathon in 2019.
