2nd Year In: Alex Rhodes
The Freshman phenom has taken the D3 track and field compeition by storm. In just his second year of running track, Alex has two runner-up performances to his name, a third place finish at U20s and a 45.93 PB.
Throughout high school, Alex played soccer as a a goalkeeper and tried track his senior to get endurance in preparation for his freshman season at Puget Sound.
And then he won the Oregon 6A 400m State Title.
He ran at Nike Outdoor Nationals and walked away with a new PB of 47.65.
He fell in love with the sport and has decided to go all in on Track. For the first time, he won't be playing soccer and focusing on Track.
He takes us through his first season in D3, what U20s was like, how he views his career, and his prep for U20 World Championships.
