Episode 113 - Jarrod Ottman

See this content in the original post

The cancellation of his senior season left Jarrod Ottman motivated to see what he can do. He was coming off new PRs on the track and wanted to see where he could take his running.

When races began to pop up again, Jarrod was making big jumps in his times resulting in breaking 15 minutes for the first time. He saw early success in the roads running 68 minutes and then 66 minutes for the half.

During this time, he built a strong relationship with Pro Runner Parker Stinson. Stinson ultimately got Jarrod to move out to Colorado. Despite a drop of a hat move and rough first few workouts, Ottman dropped his half PR to 64 minutes.

Flash forward to CIM, Ottman ran the first half with D3 Glory Days Alum, Alex Burks. From there, Jarrod continued to move up and ran 2:16.

Hear about his race and his progression story.
