As the 2024 cross-country season grinds inexorably towards Terre Haute, we look back at the last D3 championship meet held on that hallowed ground.
On that day, November 17th 2012, Christy Cazzola of UW Oshkosh finally added a cross-country title to her eventual haul of 17 career individual titles.
On today’s episode, we catch up with one of the best to ever do it. Cazzola’s circuitous path to D3 distance running greatness has deserved an episode for a while, and it’s finally here.
